Ball Puzzle

How to play

1. Your goal is to guide the colored ball to the exit hole by rearranging the sliding tiles on the board. Tap and slide any movable tile in the direction you want it to go, which will open a path for the ball to roll.

2. The ball rolls automatically in a straight line when a path is clear, stopping only when it hits an obstacle, like a wall, an immovable iron tile, or the edge of the board. Plan your tile moves to control the ball's trajectory.

3. Be strategic with every move. Your performance is rated based on how few moves you use to complete a level. A "move" is counted each time you successfully slide a tile, not each time the ball rolls.

4. Recognize the special tiles. Iron tiles, which are dark and metallic, are fixed in place and cannot be moved. Use them as permanent walls to bounce the ball from or to block unwanted paths.

5. If you make a mistake or want to try a different approach, use the Undo button (a curved arrow) to step back through your moves one at a time. This does not affect your final move count if you correct your path.

6. When you are truly stuck on a challenging puzzle, tap the Hint button (a lightbulb). It will suggest a possible tile to move next, helping you progress without giving away the entire solution.

7. Progress through the 240 levels, which are grouped into difficulty categories: Beginner, Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. Start with simpler puzzles to learn the mechanics before tackling more complex boards.

8. Manage your space carefully. Often, you must move tiles that are not directly in the ball's path to create a chain reaction or to reposition a crucial piece for the final route.

9. Look for opportunities to use the ball's momentum. Setting up long, straight corridors can be efficient, but sometimes a precise bounce off a corner is the key to reaching the exit.

10. Complete each level by getting the ball to fall into the exit hole. You will then see your move count versus the level's "par" and can proceed to the next, more intricate puzzle.

11. For a greater challenge, replay completed levels to try and beat your own score, aiming for the minimum possible moves to achieve a perfect three-star rating.

12. Remember, patience and foresight are your best tools. Enjoy the process of logical deduction across hundreds of unique levels, exercising your brain with this modern twist on a classic puzzle.
